Jackson Cannon is Boston.com Cocktail Club’s host and bar director for Eastern Standard and The Hawthorne. The veteran craft cocktail leader opened Eastern Standard in 2005 as Bar Manager, quickly cementing the neighborhood brasserie’s reputation as one of the country’s best bars, known for its attention to properly crafted cocktails and unwavering hospitality in a high-volume environment. The iconic, expansive program offering more than 60 classic and new creations secured national attention and earned Cannon “Bartender of the Year” award from Nightclub & Bar magazine in 2011. Cannon introduced the next iteration of his vision when he opened The Hawthorne, an experience centered in his commitment to thoughtfully crafted cocktails, continued cocktail/spirits education, and curating exceptional moments for guests. The Hawthorne has received numerous local and national accolades, including a semifinalist award for James Beard Foundation’s “Outstanding Bar Program” in 2014 and 2015, and winning Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Award for “Best Hotel Bar” in 2017. Cannon was a finalist for “Best Bar Mentor” at the 2013 and 2014 Spirited Awards and a 2014 Wine Enthusiast Wine Star Award nominee for “Mixologist/Brand Ambassador of the Year.”
Ashley Sullivan, has been working in the industry since was 16. After a few years off to start a family she jumped back in on the opening team of Salt, a family owned raw bar and fine cuisine restaurant
in Plymouth, MA. She's Bar Manager at Salt and a Town Meeting Member for Plymouth on the energy committee as well as the restaurant sustainability group. During the initial lockdowns due to Covid19, she would post on Twitter asking people what items they had in their homes and help create cocktails for them, embodying her drive, discipline and dedication to sustainable cocktails at home and at the bar.

Erik Andersson is on his fifth year as the East Coast Ambassador to Hendrick's Gin. Prior to his move across the big pond, Erik began his journey in 2012 as the Hendrick's Gin Ambassador to Asia looking after markets including China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong.
His love affair with spirits began when he was a young bartender in his hometown Uppsala in 1998. Erik holds over 20 years of experience in the industry, and has a deep and passionate love for travel, which led him to bar programs and ownership roles in London, China and Stockholm. In addition to his wealth of knowledge in mixology, service, and spirits, Erik plays the bass clarinet and is fluent in Mandarin, both of which he brings with him on his travels to exotic locales.
Most recent, Erik passed the International Brewers and Distillers Certificate in distillation, Bar5Day and inducted in the UK Gin Guild.
Erik spends his days exploring the most eccentric bars and speakeasies across the region, finding new ways to celebrate the unique rose and cucumber-infused gin in subtle and complex concoctions. Outside of mixology, Erik can be found enjoying the great outdoors hunting and fishing as well as playing classical music.
